It had been 10 months for me. Now granted I haven't felt up to it for the last 6 or 7 months. But even then I was starting to wonder if I was going to ever have an opportunity to enjoy lovemaking again. But alas, I have met a very nice man and have been spending quite abit of time with him for the last several weeks - explanation for my absence around here. Anyway, it just sorta happened and it was a huge relief for me in many ways. The obvious one, of course. But just getting back into the saddle without my bridle (breasts) and riding the horse again - sorry for the metaphor - was strange and awkward - but he was very patient and gentile and what a ride I gave him!!!

So I guess I have lost my second virginity..... Nice!! Oh so nice indeed.

So I want to know.....what is the longest stretch of abstinence you have gone through, what was the reason and what did it feel like to get back on the carnival ride? I know my stomach had butterflies.

The Second Coming of My Virginity

Timing on this for me is dead on AV, I just got back on the horse myself... wait, I am the horse.

At any rate... the stretch encompassed 20 monthes. The reasons were various, but I suppose it began when I moved back to the ancestral home to take care of Mom in her last year. Followed by a move to a new area and a job that is to say the least, consuming. Just didn't feel like I had the time for a woman, and to be truthful, I was really enjoying the freedom of being single. Golf when I want, eat what I want, clean up around the house when I want, etc. LMAO, but it was a kind of peaceful & sedate existence.

But, I met this gal through work a few weeks ago. She's considerably younger than I, full of attitude and energy, and she made it clear from the start that I was on her short list. It really wasn't even my decision to make - she just showed up at my bar on Saturday looking too good to ignore and told me we were 'hanging out' that night. A few Captain Morgan's later we found our way to my place, and the saddle was on. She didn't put on the harness... and this horse was encouraged to run free. I did.

Getting back in the game? AWESOME! I hadn't forgotten how much I enjoy sex, but I had become a bit complacent and comfortable. Funny how the mind conjures up juicy rationalizations to accomodate our situations. I actually performed pretty well, the rust(?) came off easily and this old horse ran well over the 2 mile mark... my jockey had an enjoyable ride. A plus, she is a single digit player... we're teeing it up this afternoon, and then heading to the 19th hole for a post round Captain. The 20th hole is the only one I'm thinking about right now...
